Santa Cruz belongs to all of its 65,000 residents. We cannot let the financial interests of a few hundred people change the character of our city.
Here's What You Can do to Preserve Santa Cruz Housing:
1. Don't use Airbnb.
Next time you travel stay in a hotel, bed and breakfast, inn or hostel.
2. Post a flyer.
Print and post one of our flyers here.
3. Write or email the City Council.
Tell them you want the neighborhoods preserved for locals and the commercial districts reserved for tourists. Tell them to restrict term rentals in the neighborhoods.
